Plas Brondanw is a small mansion from the 16th and 17th centuries, in North Meirionydd. It is the main house of the Brondanw Estate, given to Clough Williams-Ellis by his father in 1908. Clough later became famous for building the village of Portmeirion, but the gardens and landscape around Brondanw are just as typical of his style, but on a more intimate scale. The house and gardens are now in the care of the Clough Williams-Ellis Foundation (YCWEF).
