I don't paint flowers very often but I can never resist painting irises. This semi-abstract piece, with its vibrant colour, conveys the fleeting life of these beautiful flowers. We have many wild yellow and blue irises on Anglesey and I can never resist stopping to look at them.
This is painted on primed mdf board and comes unframed.
